Song of Angels

We gathered together - there were five of us
each with a job to do;
one to Love, one to Heal,
the rest to follow through
with Hope and Faith and Compassion
to ease the woes of all;
to see to needs before they rose,
to answer mankind's call.
Throughout the ages we have been
God's Divine and Living Light.
For eternity we've guided souls
through their darkest fears and nights.
When we are in service to all those
in anguish and distress
it is our deepest honor
and when we feel most blessed.
For in the core of every soul
there dwells the Living Light -
the presence of God's spirit,
the flame of eternal life.
This Living Light we cherish.
We encourage it to shine.
It connects us all to one another,
through the bond of Love Divine.
So, whenever you feel troubled,
in confusion or despair
open your heart to welcome us;
in that instant we are there.
We'll bring to you our touch of peace,
our caress of serenity.
In stillness and in silence
we'll give all we can be.
You may not see our golden light
or hear the flutter of our wings
but if you listen with your soul
you'll hear the angels sing.
